I’ve had more than 25 years’ experience in the accounting industry having started out at one of Christchurch’s largest accounting firms.

My experience ranges from preparing tax opinions, advising and assisting small business start-ups as well as lecturing in accounting at the former Christchurch College of Education.

I am currently contracted to Tax Link Christchurch, preparing financial statements, income tax and GST returns as well as helping numerous clients out of a jam with the Inland Revenue Department.

I enjoy meeting people, learning about your business and playing my small part in helping you along the road to success. Understanding your financial statements, knowing when your tax is due and planning for it are important steps along this road. I am more than happy to meet with you on site at your business premises as this gives me a better feel for what you do.

I love numbers and I genuinely enjoy my job as an accountant. It’s not all about numbers however, and an important aspect of my job is understanding the how, where and why you operate your business. Having a good understanding of what you do, where and how you do it makes my job easier and enables me to better communicate the results of your financial statements to you.
